Great gun
Posted by Jason on Jan 8th 2022
I am new to the AR scene, but after researching I decided to by this gun because it seemed to have a lot of upgrades for a rifle in this price range. One big bonus to me is it comes with pretty nice sights. It was very accurate right out of the box. At 100 yards I did not have to adjust the sights at all.
That brings me to my only complaint. After shooting 96 rounds my front sight fell off. Luckily I had a small toolbox with me and even had the right little star shaped bit. I quickly reattached the front sight and finished unloading the clip. I’ve put another couple hundred rounds through the gun and have not had any other problems with the sight or the gun for that matter.
I used the Winchester 5.56 62 gn green tip rounds.
I would definitely recommend this rifle to anybody looking for an AR.
Post Question
The Savage Axis XP Compact from Gunzest is a youth rifle. The 20-inch barrel in .243 Winchester groups at 2 inches at 100 yards. The synthetic stock is adjustable, and the included scope is handy. The matte finish resists wear, and the delivery was prompt.
The CZ P-10C from gunzest.com is a compact 9mm winner. The 4.02-inch barrel groups shots within 2 inches at 15 yards. The ergonomic grip fits well, and the night sights aid low-light use. The nitrided slide resists scratches. The website’s support and shipping were top-notch.
The Remington 783 merits a 4.5-star rating for its 2-inch groups at 100 yards and adjustable trigger. The synthetic stock is tough. I removed half a star due to the basic sights.
The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 4.5” from gunzest.com offers a premium shooting experience. The enhanced grip texture provides excellent control, even with sweaty hands during a hot day at the range. The match-grade barrel ensures tight groupings, and I consistently hit within 2 inches at 25 yards with 9mm loads. The optics-ready slide allowed me to mount a red dot sight effortlessly, transforming it into a competition-ready pistol. The extended magazine capacity of 22 rounds is a game-changer for extended sessions. The website’s clear photos and detailed specs helped me decide, and the delivery to my FFL was handled professionally.
The Sig Sauer P320 RX from Gunzest is an optic-ready pistol. The 4.7-inch barrel groups within 1.5 inches at 20 yards. The Romeo1Pro sight is a plus, and the 17-round magazine is great. The nitron finish resists wear, and the delivery was quick.
